Fiji

Incident: Back to normal after heavy tropical cyclone

Post Fiji Ltd, informs that operations returned to normal in all of its outlets as of 16 November 2023, after problems occurring due to the tropical cyclone November 14.


Italy

Report date: 16 November, November 23 2023
Incident: National Strike 17 November, 24 November

  • Italy, Poste Italiane, informs that the major Italian unions confirmed a 24-hour general strike, that commenced at 00.01 CEST on 17 November 2023, it involved all productive activities, with the exception of air traffic. For public transports, the strike was limited to 4 hours as agreed between the Unions and the competent Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. Mitigation measures was taken in Poste Italiane facilities.
  • Furthermore, some Italian unions have confirmed a 24-hour general strike, commencing at 00.01 CET on 24 November 2023, involving ground handlers and other airport services personnel, in all Italian airports. There is a risk of delays/cancellations of non-guaranteed flights.

Mitigation measures will be taken but, depending on the adhesion to the call for strike, the impact may continue over the weekend and until November 27 or 28 2023.
