Hongkong Post, the People’s Republic of China’s designated operator for Hong Kong, informs that the extreme weather conditions across Hong Kong have now ceased. Subsequently, postal operations resumed as normal with effect from 12 September 2023.
Italy

Incident: Severe flooding
Poste Italiane informs that the severe flooding in the Emilia Romagna and Marche regions, mail services have now resumed as normal. For citizens who have been displaced as a result of this natural disaster, a special mail collection service has been organized in specific post offices throughout the affected regions.

Incident: Delays
Correos y Telégrafos inform that owing to the implementation of a customs-related IT development, it is currently experiencing some incidents and delays in the processing of items subject to customs treatment.
Correos is working to resolve these IT issues as quickly as possible. In the meantime, non-automated processes continue to be performed.
Greece

Incident: Strike
The Association of the Civil Servants has announced a 24-hour strike on Thursday, the 21th of September. ELTA employees will participate in this strike.
Also the air traffic controllers have announced their participation in the strike.These actions will affect both international and domestic mail collection and delivery.
