Incident: delay of returns
The designated operator of Israel, Israel Postal Company, informs that, owing to new Israeli customs regulations regarding the return of imports, Israel Post has been unable to return undeliverable postal items to the country of origin since the beginning of 2023.
Thousands of items waiting to be returned are being held at the Post’s sorting centre. Israel Post received approval from the Israeli customs authority to return items to the country of origin. It will gradually dispatch all undeliverable items, starting on 1 September 2023.
