Incident: Earthquake
Jamaica Post informs that parts of the island experienced a 4.2 magnitude earthquake at approximately 13.30 local time on Tuesday, 28 November 2023. Consequently, the central sorting office was evacuated and all operations immediately halted, including ICT and customer service support functions. The ICT and customer support functions were subsequently restored at 6.30 local time on Wednesday, 29 November 2023. Mail sorting and transport operations were back to normal at the central sorting office as of 1 December 2023.
Greece

Incident: IT issues (IPS)
Due to issues in IPS system, Hellenic Post ELTA hasn’t been able to send any RESDES messages since 1/12/2023. The matter is being investigated by our IT department and we hope to be solved the soonest.
