Greece

The designated operator of Greece, Hellenic Post S.A., has advised that the Association of Civil Servants and the Confederation of Greek Workers have announced a 24-hour strike on Thursday, 8 December 2016 which will affect both international and domestic mail collection and delivery. Please note that service delays are expected.
Spain
Start date: 4th December

Large parts of the Costa de Sol in Spain have been hit by severe weather. Many roads in Málaga, Marbella, Cártama und Alhaurín de la Torre were completely flooded. Postal services may be affected.
Russia
Start date: 25th November
End date: 30th November
There is currently a temporary embargo on Russia, as most airlines are full and capacity taken for a few days. It is expected that no volumes would be moved until Wednesday 7th December, when the situation will be reviewed.
Guatemala
Start date: 21st November
End date: 15th January 2017
There is a temporary suspension of international mail services from 21st November 2016 to 15th January 2017. This is due to staffing and logistical difficulties. No mail will be dispatched to Guatemala between these dates.
Botswana
Start date: 28th November
End date: 5th December
For the past week, since Monday 28th November, Botswana post has been experiencing issues with IT systems. This resulted in delays for both inbound and outbound processing. This issue has now been resolved and all services are fully operational.
Barbados
Start date: 24th November
End date: 7th December
The designated operator of Barbados, Barbados Postal Service, has advised that the industrial action at Grantley Adams International Airport has ended 7th December 2016.
