Multiple Countries

The quickly spreading ransom-ware cyber attack is hitting companies in multiple sectors in countries across the world, including France, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine and the United States.
This means that track & trace information for items to these destinations might be missing and that delays in local mail and parcel processing are to be expected.

Germany

End date :  ongoing

Heavy rain and severe weather have caused flooding in Northern parts of Germany. Besides Lower Saxony, Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania especially the capital Berlin is affected. At Berlin Tegel Airport many flights had to be cancelled or had to be rerouted. One of Berlin’s busiest highways, the A100, had to be shut down for hours because of the deluge. Firefighters in Berlin declared a state of emergency. Massive traffic disruptions have to be expected.

Austria, Switzerland, Italy

Severe thunderstorms with heavy rain and hail have hit Austria since June 21, causing power outages, flooding, mudslides and traffic disruptions.
At present, the districts of Deutschlandsberg, Leibnitz, Südoststeiermark, Hartberg-Fürstenfeld, Graz-Surroundings and Liezen in Styria as well as the Gail- and Mölltal, Villach-Land, Völkermarkt and the Lavanttal in Carinthia are particularly affected.
On June 25, further severe thunderstorms with hail and torrential rain raged in Switzerland especially in the area around Lugano in the Ticino as well as in Italy in the Lombardy and in the region Emilia Romagna.

Canada

End date :   4th July

Canada Post informs about expected mail delivery and pickup disruptions in Ottawa due to extended road closures for the Canada 150 celebrations.

China

Start date: 24th June
End date :  25th June

Adverse weather conditions again led to flight cancellations and delays in China during the weekend. The following airports were particularly affected:

Shanghai Hongqiao (SHA)
Shanghai Pudong Int’l (PVG)
Guangzhou (CAN)
Shenzhen (SZX)
Beijing (PEK)
Hangzhou Xiaoshan Int’l (HGH)

Eid-ul-Fitr Public Holidays

End date :  30th June

During the Eid celebrations, there will be no deliveries to the countries listed below:
Bahrain, Bangladesh, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen.
