China Post informs that it is closing the case of force majeure relating to the impact on postal services of the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Postal services are now back to normal.

the designated operator of Canada, Canada Post, asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, as a result of improvements in transport capacity, the list of destinations for which it is able to accept mail has been further expanded as of 14 September 2020. However, in the absence of transport links, Canada Post still cannot accept mail (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) for the following destinations: Anguilla, Ascension, Azerbaijan, Belize, Bolivia, Botswana, British Virgin islands, Brunei Darussalam, Caribbean part of the Netherlands, Cayman Islands, Chad, Comoros, Congo (Rep.), Cook Islands, Dem. People’s Rep. of Korea , Dominica, Equatorial Guinea, Falkland Islands (Malvinas), Fiji, French Polynesia, Gambia, Grenada, Guinea, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras (Rep.), Kiribati, Kuwait, Lao People’s Dem. Rep., Liberia, Mauritania, Mayotte, Monaco, Mongolia, Montserrat, Nauru, Nepal, New Caledonia, Nicaragua, Niger, Niue , Panama (Rep.), Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Saint Christopher (St. Kitts) and Nevis, Saint Helena, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, State of Libya, Sudan, Suriname, Swaziland, Tajikistan, Timor-Leste (Dem. Canada Post regularly updates the list of destinations for which the acceptance of mail is in effect or suspended. Detailed information is provided on the Canada Post website at www.canadapost.ca/cpc/en/our-company/news-and-media/service-alerts.page.
Given the continued need to minimize the spread of COVID-19, the delivery procedure changes outlined in previous Incident Bulletins remain in effect. Items requiring a signature, proof of age or the collection of customs fees will continue to be delivered directly to a nearby post office for pickup by the customer. Canada Post has recently restored the 15-day limit for customers to retrieve their parcels after receiving a card with instructions. Items will be returned to the sender if they are not collected within 15 days.
Canada Post continues to experience significant disruption to its activities due to the exceptional precautionary measures required to preserve the health and safety of its employees and Canadians, as well as continued challenges related to the availability of transport links. The force majeure situation previously declared for all international letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items remains in effect. Canada Post will continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19 situation and will follow the guidance and safety recommendations issued by the Public Health Agency of Canada.
Further to previous Incident Bulletin messages, the designated operator of El Salvador, Correos de El Salvador, wishes to inform that the government-mandated closure, effective from 17 March 2020, of El Salvador International Airport to commercial flights, which transport postal cargo, has had a direct impact on the receipt, processing and delivery of letter-post, parcel-post, EMS and registered items. Similarly, the measurement of quality parameters for these mail classes has also been affected.
El Salvador International Airport is gradually reopening to incoming and outgoing commercial flights as of 19 September 2020, and a normal flight schedule is expected to be operational by 4 October 2020.
Owing to the quarantine in place until 16 June 2020 and the subsequent gradual return of the workforce, and in view of the large volumes of accumulated mail and the addition of dispatches received via cargo flights in recent weeks, the processing and delivery of letter-post and registered items remain subject to delays.
Correos de El Salvador is making every effort to deliver mail as quickly as possible, but it is still unable to ensure compliance with the delivery times set out in quality standards.

Deutsche Post informs that that data processing within Deutsche Post DHL data warehouse is disturbed since 24th September and although their IT department started to solve the problem immediately, they are still not able to generate any international events or pre-alerts.
The update will be issued as soon further information from IT department will be received.
The designated operator of Grenada, Grenada Postal Corporation, informs that Grenada reopened its borders to regional and international flights on 1 August 2020, and has resumed full business operations. However, some regional airports remain closed, and international flights from Canada and the United Kingdom have not yet resumed, which is affecting the receipt and delivery of mail.
Discussions are underway with a new regional airline so as to fill the void left by airlines that are no longer operating.
The entire territory of Honduras will remain in lockdown until 4 October 2020 (or a later date to be communicated in due course).
To minimize human contact and protect its workers, in line with government advice, Honducor is not yet able to admit international mail at any of the country’s land and sea borders, or at Ramon Villeda Morales Airport in San Pedro Sula and Toncontin Airport in Tegucigalpa). It therefore asks countries that would usually send their mail to Honduras by air cargo or commercial flights not to do so for the time being; otherwise the mails will need to be stored in customs warehouses, generating significant extra costs.
Consequently, modified operating hours will continue to apply across the postal network, with an impact on mail sorting, distribution and delivery, as well as timely provision of EDI messages and replies to online customer inquiries.
The designated operator of Jamaica, Jamaica Post, wishes to inform that the Government of Jamaica has extended the national curfew until 7 October 2020.
The designated operator of Mexico, Correos de México, informs that flights are gradually returning to normal, though with severely reduced capacity. It is currently able to dispatch mail to the following destinations: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria (Rep.), Canada, Croatia, Czech Rep., Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Chin, Hungary, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea (Rep., Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Ukraine, United Kingdom , United States of America.
The designated operator of Mongolia, Mongol Post, informs of flights available for exchanging outbound and inbound international airmail (letter post, parcel post and EMS) with Mongolia via London/Nur-Sultan, Beijing, Seoul, Tokyo and Frankfurt in October 2020.
