Bulgaria

Incident: IT issues

Further to incident bulletin 22.04.22, the designated operator of Bulgaria (Rep,), Bulgarian Posts, wishes to inform that the IT issues were resolved as of 16 June 2022, and all systems are again up and running. 

 

Macao

Start date: 20 June 2022
End date: ongoing
Incident: state of immediate COVID-19 prevention

Macao Post, the People’s Republic of China’s designated operator for Macao, wishes to inform that Macao has now been assessed as being at extremely high risk of a community outbreak of COVID-19. To prevent the spread of the coronavirus in Macao, and to protect the life and property of citizens, the Macao Special Administrative Region has declared a state of immediate prevention as of 19 June 2022.

Deliveries of letter-post items and advice notes for parcel-post items and EMS items are suspended with effect from 20 June 2022, until further notice. 

 

Thailand

Start date: 13 June 2022
End date: 13 June 2022
Incident: relocation of certain THBKKA IMPC operations

The designated operator of Thailand, Thailand Post, wishes to inform that, with a view to internal improvements to operating processes, mail routeing and processing operations relating to outbound airmail, S.A.L. letter-post and S.A.L. parcel-post items at the Bangkok international mail processing centre (IMPC code: THBKKA) are to be relocated to the Suvarnabhumi IMPC (THBKKC) with effect from 13 June 2022. During the initial stage, this relocation may affect the exchange of electronic data relating to postal operations and the processing of outbound mail.

All other functions of the Bangkok IMPC (THBKKA) remain unchanged.
