Violent storms in the center of Germany caused flooding and traffic disruptions. The Rhineland-Palatinate, Southern Hesse, parts of Thuringia and the north of Bavaria were particularly affected.

Severe weather with heavy rainfall, hail and squalls hit Styria, causing power outages and flooding. Particularly affected was the district of Deutschlandsberg.

United States Postal Service has advised that Hurricane Harvey, a major Category 4 storm, hit southeast Texas on Saturday, 26 August 2017. The severe weather has resulted in flight cancellations and delays, as well as road closures, affecting inbound and outbound postal delivery operations in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and the surrounding areas. Service delays are expected.

Canada Post informed about delivery delays in Poplar River, Manitoba due to forest fires.

Heavy monsoon rains hit Mumbai on August 29, prompting flooding and severe traffic disruptions. In addition to impacts on road traffic, trains and flights were cancelled or delayed.

Please be advised that Eid-Ul-Adha holidays will be observed from Friday 1st September 2017 to Tuesday 5th September 2017. No deliveries or customs clearance will take place during this period, with the exception of Yemen which will extend to the 9th September.
