Bpost informed that severe impact on the outbound postal performance could be expected due to the strike actions on May 14 and May 16 by the Brussels Airlines pilots. Carrier indicated that transit times can be longer as foreseen.

United States Postal Service has advised that storms in the Northeastern United States have resulted in facility closures and delivery delays owing to damage and loss of power.

CorreosChile have informed of generic capacity concerns at customs due to increasing international volumes. Items can be queued up to 20 working days before being processed by Chilean customs.

We have received reports of a strike at Brazilian customs. Tax auditors will strike for 30 days, starting 14 May. Only essential operations will continue.
