Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Business development including prospecting new business through targeted sales activities including, phone, trade shows, email, and LinkedIn
  • Scheduling meetings with new prospects and building your own customer base
  • Developing significant customer relationships with focus on decision makers within the executive level
  • Build own pipeline and close own deals
  • Obtain a thorough understanding of customer’s and their customers’ needs, business processes, challenges and requirements
  • Prepare and conduct presentations providing customized solutions, resolution of issues and solidifying partnership
  • Update all activities in CRM System (Pipedrive)
  • Managing new clients and providing strong customer service
  • Stay up to date on current trends in global e-commerce

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience within the logistics industry, targeting international package volumes sent to consumers outside the US preferably within the e-commerce sectors
  • Have a proven track record of high sales achievement
  • High activity level and business proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills are critical
  • Demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative, and be comfortable in all sales responsibilities
  • Disciplined and dedicated meeting deadlines externally and internally
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Pipedrive CRM
  • University degree is a plus

Direct Link is looking to add one motivated and driven Commercial Analyst to our US organization, based at our regional HQ in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Business development including prospecting new business through targeted sales activities including, phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Daily quoting of new and existing items within established guidelines and with the goal of maximizing profits within targeted product lines
  • Assist a nationwide sales team with quotas and solutions based on clients’ needs
  • Research and prepare responses to Requests For Information (RFIs) and Requests For Quotation (RFQs) involved with bid packages
  • Utilizing spreadsheets and historic data, perform extensive analytical research to aid in decision making relative to opportunity and profitability analyses
  • Aid in forecasting anticipated growth through analysis of historical trends and by evaluating future growth projections
  • Capture data, conduct analysis and develop recommendations for logistics, transportation, and distribution activities

  • Provide support, as needed, for other marketing functions
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping

  • Reporting to Director of Sales

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years sales experience within the logistics industry, targeting international package volumes sent to consumers outside the US preferable within the e-commerce sectors
  • Alternatively direct from college/university with a degree in Business, Finance or Statistics
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills are critical
  • Disciplined and dedicated meeting deadlines externally and internally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • University degree is a plus
  • Ability to perform analytical studies including revenue, costs, profitability etc.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area and volume
  • Ability to generate and interpret graphical representations
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form
